Christian Sex – How To Have GREAT Sex As Christians

Christian sex is very important in a Christian relationship. Unfortunately many couples find it hard to get intimate as Christians. The reasons can range greatly: from being busy to experiencing a simmering “spark” in the intimate department. Usually the answers revolve around getting back into the intimacy loop. This brings Christian sex back into play and lights that spark right back up.

Here are ways to get back to a healthy life of Christian intimacy.

1. Set aside one night every week. Don’t make it an outright “sex night”, but rather a going out night, or just being together night. The easiest way to do this is going out for dinner. Just this act alone sets the stage for intimacy later. But sex isn’t always necessary. This one night a week at least keeps the both of you “in the loop of intimacy”. It’s so easy to fall out of this loop. As long as you maintain closeness and time together, you keep that loop alive. And if sex isn’t favored for that particular night, it will be on the burners in the near future.

2. Get a hotel. Seriously, this is a great way to get away without going far and without spending a fortune. Once a month, take a weekend night and just get out of the house for a mini getaway, one night vacation. This pretty much guarantees intimacy and keeps the fires alive. Getting out of one’s familiar settings is such a great way to become intimate with one another and relax away from the everyday noises that tend to distract us from intimate moments together.

3. Couples events. Get involved in couples events, many of which may be found at your Church organization. These are great ways to be together and once again, set the stage for intimacy later. These events usually require you to dress up and go out together in a couple based intimate setting. Again, this brings you together and keeps the both of you in that very important intimacy loop.

 Dead Man Walking

Dead Man Walking

$15

In 1982, Sister Helen Prejean became the spiritual advisor to Patrick Sonnier, the convicted killer of two teenagers who was sentenced to die in the electric chair of Louisiana’s Angola State Prison. In the months before Sonnier’s death, the Roman Catholic nun came to know a man who was as terrified as he had once been terrifying. At the same time, she came to know the families of the victims and the men whose job it was to execute him–men who often harbored doubts about the rightness of what they were doing. Out of that dreadful intimacy comes a profoundly moving spiritual journey through our system of capital punishment. Confronting both the plight of the condemned and the rage of the bereaved, the needs of a crime-ridden society and the Christian imperative of love, Dead Man Walking is an unprecedented look at the human consequences of the death penalty, a book that is both enlightening and devastating.
